Inclusive Insurance Business Development Manager

Under the global responsibility of Chief Executive Officer, the tasks of the Inclusive Insurance Business Development Manager will be principally to develop distribution channel, identify new potential partnerships, supporting field operations team, actuaries and related stakeholders and improve existing ones through new distribution models.
JOB PURPOSE
Under the direct supervision of Chief Executive Officer, the Inclusive Insurance Business Development Manager will be responsible for the development and maintaining the partnership portfolio and supporting team, actuaries and related stakeholders which includes:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop distribution channel supporting field operations team to implement sale activities of inclusive insurance as per management plan;
- Lead on the coordination with actuaries and related stakeholders of product development for inclusive insurance (including agriculture insurance) and train field staffs for the effective implementation of project activities.
- Coordinate data, market research, and needs assessments linked to better understanding client needs and, ensuring client-centric as well as gender sensitive approaches – this includes both quantitative and qualitative research methods;
- Prepare product pilot frameworks, planning operation regarding product campaign and sales (e.g. awareness creation campaigns, promotion, distribution, service delivery, ets.) and KPIs for measuring results;
- Build partnerships and ensure continued coordination with business partners involved in ascertaining losses for claims in relation to indemnity-based products;
- Educate and train field staff for the smooth implementation of project activities (e.g. Market assessment, awareness creation campaigns, promotion , distribution, service delivery, etc.) of agriculture insurance among smallholders;
- Participate to planning for scaling of the product after pilot validation, including product term sheet adjustments, promotional plans, diversification of distribution channels, etc.
- Contribute to the development of new projects, including actively supporting the development of funding proposals, data required for re-insurance arrangements, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENT
- Graduate Degree (preferably in Agriculture or in a relevant field)
- 3 years of relevant experience will be preferred.
- Experience using MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), especially able to use advance excel
- Knowledge in collecting , manipulating, synthesizing and analyzing data.
- good communication in English.
- Strong leadership and positive attitude
- Possess ability in problem solving, negotiation skills, initiative, flexible and good interpersonal skill.
